What’s New – Spring 2024

See what features have been improved or added through the months of April - June, 2024

 The big news from the Spring of 2024 is that we released what we refer to as Auctions 2.0! It includes several new features that should make our Auctions platform easier to use for both Tournament Organizers and auction participants. Most notably, Auctions 2.0:

  • Added the ability for Guests (i.e., people not registered as golfers in the Tournament) to take part in Auctions.

  • Created QR Codes for all Auction items (and for the Auction itself) that users can scan to access the event.

  • Added an Auction Page to the Tournament Website that displays all the items up for bidding.

  • Enabled Notifications to let people know when they’ve been outbid on an item.

  • Made it possible for winners to pay for their Auction items via the Event Caddy Mobile App.

Unrelated to Auctions, we made it possible to have Groups of up to 20 players on the system, in order to accommodate TopGolf and other simulator events.

Improvements were made to the Tournament Cloning process to make that faster and more reliable.

It is now possible to create a Tournament Administrator who can do everything associated with a tournament, but not see the Financial data.

Finally we implemented a new editor on the system to make it easier for organizers to build and edit their Tournament Website.
